In Dissidia: Arcade, there was a special switch built-in. You see, it has a promotion for Final Fantasy X: Vita! When the game comes out, arcade owners can switch Spira Mode on, which makes all the characters as if they're from FFX.

These people are multiples inside the game, unused for now. The ones who used guns or other mechanical devices ended up Al Bhed, so... yeah. That's how this guy exists. He's actually got his own backstory, too! But that's a tale for another day... he's a lot like canon Laguna. Except he always has a Moomba by his side, as his Assist.

He also tends to stay outside his game during the day. Why would he do that? Well, because he's unused content and loves exploring!
